Meet:

Tom Davies

After graduating from Lancaster University Tom threw himself into the action packed world

of outdoor education with Kingswood, now part of the Inspiring Learning Group. Tom enjoyed a variety of roles from Activity Instructor to Centre Coordinator. He particularly enjoyed the challenge and responsibility of delivering the Camp Beaumont product, an American style summer camp.

After gaining experience in vocational training and professional services Tom decided it was time to return to university and qualify as a maths teacher, which he did in 2010, winning the prestigious Leeds Trinity Departmental Prize for Outstanding Achievement.

After delivering scores of outstanding lessons (and a few ropey ones) at a big comprehensive school in Keighley, Tom took the leap to realise an ambition and start a business. Tom bought the rights to operate Kip McGrath franchises 2014 and has not looked back.

Tom has since built a team of passionate educators and committed support staff and together they operate a chain of education centres in Yorkshire and Lancashire. Outside of nurturing his franchises, Tom coaches entrepreneurship and is an ardent advocate of creating life chances through business growth.

Tom lives near Skipton with his wife and children and they all enjoy park runs.
